Uploading tracks (GPX / IGC / FIT)
If you recorded an activity on a watch, a flight instrument or another app, you can upload the file to SportsTrackLive on the web — no phone required.
Supported formats
- GPX — the universal GPS exchange format.
- IGC — the International Gliding Commission format, standard for paragliding and hang gliding.
- FIT — Garmin's activity format.
- Waypoint formats such as CompeGPS WPT are also supported.
Uploading
- Go to your activities on the web and choose upload.
- Select one or more files. Bulk upload lets you add several at once (Premium raises the limit).
- Set the sport category and privacy, and add any tags or photos.
Once processed, the activity behaves exactly like one recorded in the app — full statistics, 2D/3D viewing, sharing and comments.
Merging into a scene
You can combine several uploaded tracks into a single scene — perfect for reconstructing a group flight or an event from everyone's files.
Exporting back out
Any activity can be exported as GPX or IGC, so you can submit flights to scoring sites like XContest or keep your own backups.
Automatic import
If you use a Garmin or Suunto watch, you can skip manual uploads entirely by connecting your account — activities then sync automatically. See Garmin & Suunto sync.
