Mobile apps — overview
The SportsTrackLive apps for iOS and Android are where you record in the field. They're a complete sport-and-flight cockpit: live metrics, audio feedback, external sensors, live broadcasting, offline recording, and a 3D replay built right in.
Key capabilities
- Recording cockpit with customisable widgets — see The cockpit.
- Auto start/stop and triggers so you never miss a takeoff — see Auto start/stop & triggers.
- Audio feedback and variometer tones for hands-free awareness — see Audio feedback.
- Live tracking and live comments — see Live tracking & comments.
- 3D Replay on your phone — see 3D replay on mobile.
- 3D Maps & Augmented Reality — point your phone at the relief to see peak names, weather beacons and other pilots in real time — see Augmented reality.
- Photos, offline recording & sync, and rich settings — see the rest of this section.
Sensors & devices
The apps connect to Bluetooth varios and GPS instruments, and on Android to ANT+ heart-rate and cadence sensors. You can also sync from Garmin and Suunto. See Devices & sensors.
Languages
The apps are localised in several languages — including English, French, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Arabic — selectable in settings.
Platform notes
- iOS — supports voice control of recording, gyroscope camera in 3D, and BLE flight instruments (FlyMaster, XCTracer, VectorVario, UltraBip/BlueBip).
- Android — adds ANT+ sensor support and Google sign-in, alongside BLE GPS.
Most features are shared across both platforms; platform-specific notes are called out on each page.
