Settings & units

The app gives you fine control over how it records, what it shows, and how it sounds.

Measurement units

Switch between metric (km, m, km/h, m/s) and imperial (mi, ft, mph, ft/s). All metrics across the cockpit, statistics and 3D view follow your choice.

Recording & altitude

  • GPS update frequency and location service options.
  • Use the phone's hardware barometer for altitude, with auto or manual calibration (altitude shifting).
  • Optionally force NMEA altitude from an external GPS receiver.

Audio

  • Enable/disable the variometer and set its sink threshold. See Audio feedback.
  • Configure triggers and their voice messages. See Auto start/stop & triggers.
  • Auto-raise volume after recording starts.
  • Toggle start/stop sounds.

Notifications

Enable or disable on-cockpit notifications, set how long they stay on screen, and manage your WhatsApp recipients in the Notifications Center. See Notifications & alerts.

Devices

  • Pair and manage Bluetooth varios and GPS instruments.
  • On Android, pair ANT+ heart-rate, cadence and speed sensors. See Devices & sensors.

Privacy

Set a default privacy level for new recordings, and change any activity's privacy later. See Privacy & sharing.

Power

On Android, bypass battery optimisation so background tracking and live broadcasting aren't interrupted. See Offline recording & sync.

Help & onboarding

  • An onboarding walkthrough introduces the main screens on first launch.
  • Feature spotlights highlight key features the first time you use them.
  • A What's New dialog announces new features after an update.
