Athlete list & statistics
When a scene or event has many participants, the player gives you the tools to manage them all and dive into any single athlete's data.
The athlete list
A sortable list shows every tracked athlete with:
- Online / offline / finished status.
- Current speed, altitude, distance and elevation.
- A colour swatch matching their trail on the globe.
From the list you can:
- Search by athlete name.
- Show or hide individual tracks, or toggle them all at once, to focus on who you care about.
- Click an athlete to select them, centre the camera, and open their stats.
Per-athlete statistics
Selecting an athlete opens a live statistics panel showing, depending on the sport:
- Ground speed and vertical speed (vario, for free flight).
- Altitude and height above ground.
- Cumulative distance, and distance to start/goal.
- Local time and timezone.
- Coordinates, and the last known position for athletes who are offline.
You can open the athlete's SportsTrackLive profile in a new tab, or jump to their current position in Google Maps for extra context.
Markers
On the globe, each athlete is a marker showing their avatar (or initials). Markers can be simple (a small avatar) or detailed (an expanded card with name, altitude and speed), and a recording indicator shows who is actively live.
Clustering
When you zoom out, nearby athletes group into clusters showing a count (e.g. "24 users"). Tap a cluster to zoom in and explode it into individual markers.
