Charts & analysis
Beyond the 3D view, the player offers graphs and analytical tools to study performance.
Altitude & speed charts
Overlay graphs on the timeline:
- Altitude chart — altitude over time, to read climbs, glides and descents.
- Speed chart — velocity over time, to analyse acceleration, cruise and approach.
Scrubbing the timeline moves a cursor along the chart, linking the graph to the 3D position.
Polar diagram (beta)
A polar diagram plots the glider's performance envelope (sink rate versus speed), helping analyse optimal speed-to-fly and glide performance. This is an advanced, beta feature for free-flight analysis.
Units
Switch all speeds, altitudes and distances between metric and imperial. The setting applies to charts, athlete statistics, labels and the distance frame.
Scene modes
The player adapts its analysis to the type of activity:
- Free-flight mode — altitude, vario, thermals, wind and terrain clearance.
- Sailing mode — distance and speed focused, with wind emphasis and no altitude.
- Contest mode — turnpoints, start/goal gates and progress along the course. See Contest tasks & turnpoints.
