Timeline & playback
A timeline along the bottom of the player controls how the activity plays back over the 3D globe.
Controls
- Play / pause — start and stop the replay.
- Speed — speed up or slow down playback with +/- controls (e.g. 2×, 4×, slow motion).
- Scrub — click or drag anywhere on the timeline to jump to that moment.
As you scrub, every athlete's position, trail and statistics update to that point in time, so a multi-athlete scene stays perfectly in sync.
Charts on the timeline
The timeline can overlay altitude and speed graphs, turning it into a profile of the whole activity. See Charts & analysis.
Trails
Each athlete leaves a coloured trail showing where they've been. You can:
- Adjust the trail length — from just the recent path up to the entire track — to reduce clutter when many athletes are on screen.
- Tell athletes apart by their distinct colours, which match the athlete list.
Trails are speed-coloured in the mobile replay, making fast and slow sections obvious.
Live mode
When viewing a live activity or event:
- A Live button keeps the player locked to each athlete's current position in real time.
- If you scrub back into the past, a Resume button jumps you straight back to the live edge.
Netto-vario vectors (free flight)
For paragliders, the player can draw netto-vario vectors (vertical air movement) at configurable time intervals, history length and line length — a powerful way to read the air the pilot flew through.
